Sports Music Samples: Editing and Mixing
Here are some examples of our editing capabilities and mixing techniques that we can apply to your skating tracks.
You can also go back to our Sports Music Samples.
Seamless Blending of Multiple Songs
An example of VU Sound Studio's capabilities to seamlessly mix multiple songs for your skating program. You will hear a segment of Blue Tango which mixes into a shortened passage of Forgotten Dreams then cross-fades back to Blue Tango.
Pitch Shifting
V.U. Sound Studio can change the pitch or key of music to blend together 2 different songs that otherwise would sound "off" or discordant. In this example, we raised the pitch of Kenny G’s Falling
In Moonlight to accommodate this beautiful mix with Moonlight
Sonata. First you will hear the original and the modified Kenny G notes and then the blend of the two songs.
Tempo Changes
If you have a song you want to use in your program but it’s tempo is too fast for your skating style or too slow to fit your program, we can speed up or slow down the tempo without otherwise changing the sound of the music. We also use this to match the tempos of two different songs.
Backing Tracks
We can add rhythms and other special effects to enhance the emotion or "feel" of your program. In this example we have added rhythmic hand claps to a few passages of High
Flying Adored from Evita.
In another example of backing tracks, we have added a light rock beat to portions of From
The Earth To The Moon theme. We also added an ending crescendo cymbal crash.
