Pick Your Own Music
We cut and edit music you select to the exact length and sequence you specify, consistent with the beat, tempo and artistic flow of the music, resulting in a unique, one-of-a-kind skating music program created by and for you and only you.
Seamless Cuts and Exact Times
We take a full length song and cut it to the exact length you need for your program. With our professional computer audio applications, and editing experience we create seamless cuts that do not interrupt the flow or rhythm of the music. For example we can take a typical 3 minute, 30 second (3:30) song and cut it to 1:30 or 1:40 for a Preliminary Free Skate Program.
Your Own Arrangements
We can move around different parts of the music or cut parts out completely. For example if your music has a faster beginning and a slower middle part and you want the faster part later in your program, we can do that.
Multiple Song Medleys
If you have two or even three different songs you want to use as a medley in your program we can edit all the music seamlessly together.
Lyrics
Many skating competitions require the use of music without lyrics. While it is not possible to completely remove the lyrics from a recorded track, we can sometimes take non-vocal parts of the song, cut and loop them together to create a version of the song without lyrics. We can often assist you in finding other, instrumental versions, of the music which you could use for your program. Also, as of May 2009, music with lyrics may be used in programs up to and including Intermediate level.

Looking for music for your new program? With our experience, extensive knowledge and listings of music, music recordings and suppliers, we can often assist you in finding the just the right music, style and arrangement to complement your skating program.
Special Effects
In addition to cutting and editing your music we have several other audio techniques we can use to increase the "skate-ability" or presentation effectiveness of your program music. If the music you want to use is too slow or too fast we can change the tempo without changing the sound of the music. We can add hand-claps to encourage audience participation or a cymbal crash to emphasize a jump. Just let us know what you want.
