Music Tape to CD transfers are initiated by running your tape on our studio tape deck and transferring the program material to a our Digital Audio Workstation computer. All cassette tapes have an inherent characteristic known as "Hiss", a by-product of the recording process. We use specialized software and digital filtering techniques to reduce tape hiss as well as other unwanted noise that may have found it’s way onto the tape. Once hiss and other noise has been removed, we apply a standardized level (volume) range, and other processes to ensure the best quality audio quality and burn the program material to your new CD.

Pricing
  • $15.00 - For 30 and 60 minute tapes
  • $20.00 - For 90 minute tapes (CD capacity is 70 minutes. 90 minute tape requires 2 CDs)
  • $8.50 - Direct Transfer Economy Package - Your music tape transferred directly "As-Is" to CD without any modification or clean-up of the audio. (Up to 70 minutes (1 CD) of program material. Add $3.50 per additional CD for tapes over 70 minutes.)
  • Inquire about converting your music to MP3 format and transferred to a Flash Drive.
Premium Packaging Options
  • Hard "jewel" CD case with color printed CD and case labels. - Add $5 to package cost
  • Custom printed CD case with copy of record jacket artwork scanned and printed on the case label. - Add $7.50 to package cost
NOTE: Above rates apply to commercially recorded music tapes in good condition. Damaged tapes or home recorded "Mix" tapes may incur additional charges for repair or to bring sound quality up to CD standards.
